Guacamole (Plant based, Oil Free Dip)

  • Ripe Avocado - 1 (large size) 
  • Red Onion - 1 (medium size)
  • Red Tomato - 1 (medium size)
  • Fresh Coriander / Cilantro - a handful
  • Fresh Lemon / Lime - 1 small size
  • Ground Black Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
  • Jalapeno Pepper / Green Chilly - 2 (small size)
  • Cayenne Pepper / Red Chilli Powder - a pinch (optional)
  • Salt - as per taste


  • Finely chop the onion, tomato, jalapeno pepper / chilly and fresh coriander / cilantro leaves.
  • Cut the lemon / lime into half. Put aside.
  • Cut the avocado into half at the centre & remove the seed / pit. Preserve the seed / pit.
  • Using a spoon, scoop the flesh out into a wide mixing bowl.
  • Now, perfectly mash up the avocado with a fork, to the desired consistency.
  • Add the salt, cayenne pepper / red chilli powder (optional) & squeeze juice from half of lime into the bowl and mix everything.
  • Transfer the finely chopped onion, tomato, coriander / cilantro leaves & jalapeno pepper / chilly into the bowl.
  • Mix up everything thoroughly.
  • Taste the dip and add more salt & lime juice if necessary. Done!!
