Guacamole (Plant based, Oil Free Dip)

Oil Free Guacamole, is a No Cook, Whole foods Plant based, Oil Free, Mexican style dip or spread. Used as a condiment as well in many other ways.

Equipment

  • Wide Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 count Ripe Avocado (large size) 
  • 1 count Red Onion (medium size)
  • 1 count Red Tomato (medium size)
  • 1 handful Fresh Coriander / Cilantro
  • 1 count Fresh Lemon / Lime (small size)
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 count Jalapeno Pepper / Green Chilly (small size)
  • a pinch Cayenne Pepper / Red Chilli Powder (optional)
  • as per taste Salt

Instructions
 

  • Finely chop the onion, tomato, jalapeno pepper / chilly and fresh coriander / cilantro leaves.
  • Cut the lemon / lime into half. Put aside.
  • Cut the avocado into half at the centre & remove the seed / pit. Preserve the seed / pit.
  • Using a spoon, scoop the flesh out into a wide mixing bowl.
  • Now, perfectly mash up the avocado with a fork, to the desired consistency.
  • Add the salt, cayenne pepper / red chilli powder (optional) & squeeze juice from half of lime into the bowl and mix everything.
  • Transfer the finely chopped onion, tomato, coriander / cilantro leaves & jalapeno pepper / chilly into the bowl.
  • Mix up everything thoroughly.
  • Taste the dip and add more salt & lime juice if necessary. Done!!
