Mango Sweet and Sour Dip (Oil Free)

Mango Dip, is a Quick, Easy, Instant, Plant Based, Oil Free, No Cook dip / sauce recipe useful in many ways.

Equipment

  • Food processor / Blender / Mixie.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Green / Yellow Mango (not fully ripen) (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon / Lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon Salt (or as per taste)
  • 1 inch piece Ginger (finely chopped)
  • ½ clove Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 count Green Chillies / Habanera Peppers (finely chopped)
  • 15 leaves Fresh Mint Leaves (finely chopped)
  • a handful Fresh Coriander / Cilantro Leaves (finely chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin / Jeera Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar / Jaggery
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (optional)
  • a pinch Dry Red Chilli Flakes (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Firstly wash & peel the mango.
  • Finely, chop into very small pieces.
  • Next, finely chop the ginger and green chillies.
  • Take all of them into a food processor / blender / mixer.
  • Add all the rest of the ingredients as well. Blend into a fine smooth paste.
  • For additional spice, top up with a pinch of dry chilli flakes. Done!!
