This, Oil Free Mango Dip, is quite a simple dip that I made instantly just that I had a fresh mango lying in the fruit basket. It’s not the completely sweet nor completely unripe kind of Mango.
I hope you understand what I mean. Just go for it, its really very apt for such fritters and on crackers too.
Being an Oil-Free dip made with all fresh ingredients, its perfectly healthy in all ways.

Step wise pics Procedure for ‘Mango Sweet and Sour Dip (Oil Free)’:

- Firstly wash & peel the mango.
- Finely, chop into very small pieces.
- Next, finely chop the ginger and green chillies.
- Take all of them into a food processor / blender / mixer.
- Add all the rest of the ingredients as well.
- Blend into a fine smooth paste.
- For additional spice, top up with a pinch of dry chilli flakes. Done!!

Tips:
- You can use either raw green mango (or) even slightly ripen yellow mango as well. But adjust the sweetness as per the sourness of the mango.
- The output colour of the dip depends upon the quality of the mango used.
- Adjust the salt & spice as per your taste.
- Garlic powder can also be used, instead of fresh garlic.
- Don’t add too much of lime/lemon juice, the dip might turn too sour too.
- I did try this recipe with oil and even without oil, both ways it turned out great.
- Storage: Store it refrigerator in an air-tight container, this dip/sauce stays good for up to 10 days.
- And at room temperature stays good for 2 days.
Result:
- The taste of this dip is a mix of sour, spice and sweet at the same time.
- It turned out ultimately tasty with just few basic ingredients and few minutes.
- We had this, Mango Sweet and Sour Dip paired up with Air Fried Potato Wedges (Recipe link⇒ Potato Wedges (Air-Fryer & Oven)) Just look at this lovely pair 🙂
