Hello dear readers!! Marking the occasion of my food blog’s 4th anniversary, I am sharing this healthy detox style recipe just in time for the post-holiday season. Having friends, gatherings, relatives, family around during this holiday season, many of us tend to eat more. Hope this recipe is useful for many of us.

Health Benefits of ‘Apple Beetroot Carrot Detox Smoothie’:
Apple is a super fruit that’s quite beneficial for a weight loss journey. Its rich in fibre and anti-oxidants.
Beetroot is one such root vegetable which is naturally sweet, and has many health benefits. Beets are rich in a variety of essential vitamins and minerals, making them an excellent addition to your diet. Benefit the body in ways such as reducing inflammation, supporting your heart, and protecting your digestive, brain, eye health.
Carrots are low in calories and are a great source of beta carotene, Vitamin K, folate, Vitamin A and anti-oxidants.
To Conclude, this smoothie is an uber fit for any weight loss diet, Vegan, Vegetarian, plant based, Soy Free, Nut free, Kids friendly, Diabetic friendly, Whole foods (WFPB) diets.

Ingredients:
- Apple – 1 cup
- Raw Beetroot – ½ cup (diced)
- Carrots – 1 cup (diced)
- Water – 1 cup
- Honey / Maple Syrup – 1 tablespoon (optional)
- Ice Cubes – 3 (optional)
Special Ingredients:
- Honey / Maple Syrup – 1 tablespoon (optional)
- Ice Cubes – 3 (optional)

Procedure for ‘ABC Detox Smoothie / ABC Juice Drink’:
- Wash the apple, beetroot and carrot thoroughly under running water.
- Peel the skin and chop each into small cubes.
- Take all of them into a high power blender.
- Add the water and blend everything until smooth.
- Transfer into serving glasses, add the optional ingredients, honey & ice cubes.
- Give a mix and serve. Done!

Tips:
- Its totally upto you if you would like to peel the skin of the ingredients.
- Other additional ingredients you can include are, small celery stick and few mint leaves.
- Storage: Transfer the smoothie into an air-tight container, stays good for upto 2 days. But remember to stir properly before serving.
Result:
- The taste of this smoothie is totally RAW.
- As I have added a bit of honey, I felt it was just ok to the taste buds.
- Just bear in mind that this is basically a drink, with an exceptional purpose of solving health benefits of all kind.
