Andhra Pradesh, is one of the 5 states in the Southern part of Indian Sub-Continent. Its the largest state located alongside the Southern Coastal line.

Rice is the major food crop and staple food of the state. It is known as the ‘Rice bowl of India’. The other main crops of the state are Mangoes, Vegetables and Chillies.

And hence the recipes of Andhra are known for the most spicy of its kind. The main reason behind it is the vast growth of chilli crops across the state.

The Andhra Pradhesh Bhojanam / Platter, is a 3 course full-fledged platter that consists of podi, pappu, koora, pachadi, ooragaya, pulusu, chaaru, annam, appadalu, vadiyalu, vadalu, mithayi and perugu. You might check my Andhra platters here⇒⇒  Vindhu Bhojanam / Festive Lunch
