TIPS & PLAN TO FOLLOW:

There is no major prep work to be done here as all are instant recipes. And the cooking involved is also minimal. I made double the quantities for Upma & Ragi Idli, than those specified in the recipe links below.

I started with the chopping needed, one each of onion, carrot, tomato for Upma. Capsicum & Tomato for the chutney. That’s it.

Next, I started off making UPMA on one side on stove-top. And preparing IDLI batter on the other side. While the UPMA was done, the IDLI batter was also ready.

Then I put the IDLI(s) for steaming in the Instant Pot. While they were steaming, finished making the capsicum-tomato chutney. Mint Leaves Chutney Powder / Podi was made by me 2 months back.

Of course, used my small mixie / blender for the chutney. Steaming the idli(s)  might be done on stove-top too. Recipe link below gives both methods.

All items made simultaneously but attentively.🙂 Multi-tasking and using all gadgets available is the key.
