I’m very much pleased to share this, Bhojanam / Thali / Platter which is a completely NO-ONION NO-GARLIC style meals from South Indian Cuisine. It has :
Sides: 1) Lauki ka dal / Sorakaya Pappu 2) Arbi / Chemadumpa / Colocasia / Taro root Stir Fry 3) Instant Chaaru / Rasam / Soup 4) Fresh Homemade Curds / Yogurt Main: Steamed White rice / Vedi Annam topped with homemade ghee / neyyi. Condiment: Slice of Lime, Homemade papads / poppadams Dessert: None

For this platter the major time saving method I used is, pot-in-pot method, that is layering 2 separate vessels one above another in a pressure cooker to cook.
I cooked the dal / lentils and the arbi / taro root in my pressure cooker pot-in-pot method, which takes just 10-12 mins. Meanwhile I completed the chaaru / rasam on stove-top. And then continued with the spicing/tempering them up separately on stove-top. Made the rice in rice cooker (20 mins).
Multi-tasking and using the gadgets appropriately is the key. All made simultaneously but attentively.
